It’s basically a shape made form hexagons and pentagons.
I’ve wanted to made one of these infinity cube things for a while and so being addicted to convex polyhedrons that’s what I’ll have to start with.
Eventually I created a 3D printed structure of just one shape that would make it all.
Plastic welding each one together with the correct angles builds the additional hexagons.
The electronics was tedious, each LED strip needing enamelled wires stripped and connected, altogether it pulls over 5amps on 12v. hexagons.
Everything was 3D printed incling the covers and caps that clipped over the messy parts.
The parts including stand, base and controller for dimmer were all created in Tinkercad.
